FEB/14 2018. Septet strikes again.

Last Wednesday night was THE hot night! Our substitute lead player, trumpeter Rafal Walczak stormed through nine advanced arrangemets as skilled old goat. But this night had a special climax point. In the second set we we're visited by California-based singer, pianist, composer, producer, educator, etc. Mr Stanley Breckenridge. I was prepared for this with one arrangement written some hour before, so band had no chance to read it before date, but all cronies read it on sight beautifully. Stan sung "The Nearness Of You" beautifully warm and perfectly not missing his excellent expression. What a nite!
Tonight we'll strike again with regular personnel including Greg. Pałka on cymbals and drums.
